Well i'm back at work and enjoying myself !!! I know work and being happy don't normally come together but i'm proof it can happen !!
Thanks for all the comments about my night out it was a nice way to finish my leave before cracking on with it!
It's been ok here apart from a little bit of snow and the fact it's dam cold!!
I have been good with the diet thing (no bread, potatoes, cheese, crisps or mayo) and have started back at the gym so hopefully will be slimmer when i rejoin my ship
Haven't had much of a chance to keep up with you all so will save that for the weekend when i will read and comment as much as i can!!

Well last night was great !!D
Me and mum went to a very nice resturant called The Gallery !
It was very nice with lots of art on the walls by various people which gets changed every month or so !
The food was fab!! The menu was small only 6 starters and 6 mains but very different to the norm, with Rabbit, Pidgeon, Salmon and Caviar, Pasta with Truffle! The mains were just as wow with Beef, Lamb, Chicken or veggie and sides. It wasn't the cheapest place to eat but very nice!
All dressed up and ready we managed to polish off a few bottles of wine oh and watch the lightening which put out a few places but not ours!! Went for a quick drink in the pub afterwards then home!
The night is self was great, we had a lovely time!
Well today is travelling day for me and mum, i'm going to Portsmouth and she is off to west wales!!
Can't wait to go back to work even though it is not on the ship!
Well i will contiune to blog when i can and try and keep up with you all so have a good one

Well it's been a few days since i last blogged and i have done something i haven't done in ages (i've picked up a paint brush)!!
I haven't picked up a paint brush in 2 years it was so nice and relaxing and i have finished 1 painting and have one more to go they have remained unfinshed in 2 years!!
I only have this weekend to go before returning to work which i'm looking forward to (back to Portsmouth) I'm going out for a meal on Saturday with my mum as a good bye thing and it gives me a break from cooking !!:D
Will give you the review on sunday as we've never been before and it's a fairly new resturant!!

Leinster 49 Edinburgh 10: Leinster made sure of their Heineken Cup qualification with an emphatic win over Edinburgh at Donnybrook yesterday !!!!

I'm very happy with yesterdays win although Brian O'Driscoll wasn't playing!!

Only 3 weeks till 6 nations bring it on !!!!!

Well have just come back from visiting a friend for a few days i have known this person for 12 yearsD so we are pretty close. She is getting married in September so have seen the dress and got all excited cos it's lush!!
So apart from talking, a little food and some vodka is was a good few days off and she has a new house so she showed me around. The weather was pretty rubbish so didn't go out to much but did venture out with the dogs for a couple of hours.
Ah well things have to come to an end as have stuff to do and start getting ready to go back to work!!
I can see you have all been busy blogging so will set aside a few hours just to catch up on how you are all doing !!

It's a Wonderful Life

Well it's day six of 2007 and it's going ok !!
I have had a cool time off so far, been cooking which i love, been watching tonnes of rugby (Celtic cup, Magners Cup) roll on six nations !!!!
Have been getting all the little jobs around the house done as well, my lastest thing was fix a lamp, which ended up being a very long job and involved me soldering and taking the lamp apart ! yes it does work now !!!
Been spoiling mum with healthy but very nice food and she has been good by going to the gym! Myself don't really like the gym much so have been going out for a run around my local area!
Haven't really done much today apart from having eyebrows waxed yes it does hurt but not for long !!
It's been great to catch up with friends which is what i'm doing next week by seeing a best mate and her new house!
So i hope you are all well and 2007 is going ok so far !

Well i had a top night in the cricket club quite a few did do fancy dress so it was a giggle !!Unfortunately i didn't win the the prize for best dressed but did get a free drink !:D
Me and mum went for a dance (no not on the tables) and just a good night ! We left about 12.30ish and had a night cap !
Not doing to bad today did wake up ok and managed a coffee and egg on toast made by my grandad !! So then the drive home my god it can rain
So made it back in one peice and now blogging with pic's ! I hope you all had a great night i wish you all well for 2007 !
