I may finally leave Portsmouth !!

Well to start i so can't wait to finally leave Portsmouth not the place itself just the god dam shore base i have been stuck on for the last 5 months !!
I will be joining my new ship soon and hopefully life will settle down once back on board!! I hope she says !!
Christmas can wait till about Feb when hopefully i will have some leave and can open prezzies and have my birthday at the same time.
Yes i will miss peopple like my mum and my mates but they will still be around after Xmas, so not to down hearted !!
I hope to finally finish on Friday and get presented a nice certificate to say i have finally passed my course which would be a dream !!
(please bloggers think good thoughts for friday)
I hope you are all well and i will post how i went on Friday afternoon fingers crossed

Hello Blog Land

Well yes again it has been a while since i last blogged and i apologise for this and i promise to catch up and read blog's !!

So what's been going on then ???

Well still in Collingwood and in the last week of my course so i want you all to think positive for me so i definately pass this course !!

As for the rest of my work still much of the same really and i can't wait to get back to sea and actually do some work !!! Not that i'm not working now i just wish i was back on the ocean it's were i belong!

As for my social life it suck's big time !! The man didn't turn out the to be the right one so yet again single but hey chin up there will be a man out there for me somewhere.

So i hope you are all fine and dandy and not letting life or this credit crunch get you down

Will blog again soon ( promise ) i won't leave it so long next time

Well Hello Blog Land !!

Hello to all fellow bloggers !
I have been very bad and not blogged for some time!! I know this is not an excuse but hey thats the way the cookie crumbles sometimes !!
Well news front first i have been stuck shore side in Portsmouth for some time and have been driving around in green landrovers pretending to be an army girl which has been fun but all good things must come to an end !!
I am now in Collingwood on a very hard course but seem to be holding my own at the moment ! It all goes toward getting my promotion hopefully (fingers crossed)! Apart from that i have more courses booked before i re-join my ship.
You will be glad to hear that i am joining the brand new warship HMS Daring so i can't wait to join !!
So apart from work on the social front i'm happy and i have a nice man we have only been together for a while but things seemed to be going in the right direction and i'm happy which counts !
Have just returned from summer leave which if you where in this country you will know there was no sun !!!!
Had a weekend in Tenby which was great and all the people that were there had a great time ! Shame about the weather though as we were all on bikes so got a little wet !! But we didn't let this dampen our weekend.
Got to see my best mate and her new baby which was sssooo cool and cute and got to catch up with her and all the lastest gossip, oh and get loads of cuddles off the baby.
Been very good on the training front and have been to the gym loads trying to get super fit again and look good at the same time !!
Well thats it for now i'm sure i have missed out loads but i will catch up soon !! Promise
Will post some jokes as long as MODONE doesn't put them all on first lol

Hello all,

1st I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter

Sorry i haven't been commenting lately but the god dam Navy crash drafted me to a ship !!:XX" class="middle" border="0">

I have been sailing around UK waters protecting us from fisherman NOT LOL !!!

They are just trying to earn a living just like everyone else !!

Apart from that everything is just fine having a few days off before going back. It's so nice to be home and spending time with mum !! It's good as last time i saw her was my birthday and i had to leave early as i got re-called !! neither of us was very happy !!

But hey shit happens and it's what i do !! I have been to Glasgow and Liverpool and both where freezing lol !! didn't stay for long just fueling and food !!

As for the recent storms i did feel for those who caught the brunt but hey i was at sea getting battered by some very big waves, the Captain thought it would be good to stay at sea whilst other ships went alongside !!! It was all good fun though.

Life goes on and i'm pretty happy with it at the moment ! Will catch up with blogs as and when i can (promise)

Well i have been busy these pasted few weeks going back to work and trying to get my life all sorted !!
Well i am working in Pompey which is great as i was unhappy with Plymouth so thats a bonus !!
I am staying shore based for a good few months so at least i will be around alot more this year than i was last year. I think this will be good for my mum as well, as i think she really did miss me !!
I will be going away for 6 months again but not until Sept so i will be missing Christmas at home but hey the things i have to do!!
Not sure about much else at the moment as in love life or anything else just decided to give it all a rest for the moment and just wait and see what happens !!
I hope all is well in blog land and will catch up again soon

Wow what a holiday !!!

Well as the title says wow what a holiday !!

For a start the weather was brill, which was good and the hotel i stayed in was like faulty towers !! No Joke !!

I meet some lovely people and some dam right nutters but i will tell all. I will not put names as some might read this lol !!

First night (Fri) in was great meet up with mum and friend, had a few beers which was nice.
2nd day (Sat) I get to meet some of the people mum knew and catch up on all the gos from the previous week !! Well i needed a drink after it !!

I discovered that we had swingers in the hotel.
A young set and an older set !!
A pair of gay guys who were very nice !
A complete compusive lair !
A child which made Damien look good !! " class="middle" border="0">
A lovely guy from Birmingham who liked to dress up like Rupert the bear.
And apart from that some genuinely nice people.

Apart from that it was a bit like gods waiting room as everyone over the previous week had been ill with colds.

So that was saturday a well deserved drink was had in the night.

Sunday we took a lovely walk to Punta Brava and had coffee whilst watching the sea (just to make sure it was still coming in) lol

We got back to the hotel to discover that old pair of swingers had asked 1 of the gays to have a night of fun, at which point leaped from the pool and ran off at quick speed !! I must add that the old pair were about 75 ish so not good.
Compulsive lair was in a strop as we hadn't invited them or told them where we were going !! I believe i can do what i want on holiday I said I don't need permission from you or anyone !! :XX" class="middle" border="0"> So that was settled and there was peace !!

New Years Eve was great !! We went out for a few drinks before finding a great bar to overlook the square and watch the bands and fireworks. At midnight it is a tradition to eat 12 grapes, 1 at every strike of the bell so we all looked like hamsters after abut 5 but we did it !!
Also you have to wear red underwear of some sort to bring you good luck for the new year ! (yes we both did, that's all i'm saying)

After this we went onto another bar to see friends and bumped into old swingers who preceded to have an argument about me ! Well i put them both straight i was going no-where with them but the people we where with found it hilirious. At last the night was over and off to bed i went.

New Years Day was spend around the pool dying slighty and the nice gent from Birmingham entertained us with jokes and just being funnny. Yound swingers turned out to be quick nice as people as long as they were sober ! In the evening 4 of us went out for a great chinese and had an early night as all still tired from the night before !!

Wednesday was a girly day. Spent all day with mum exploring and just having a great day !! Complusive lair just came out with more s**t each day so by the end of the holiday no-body beleived anything she said, plus the friend she came out with once home will be no longer !

Thursday was a sad day as we started to say goodbye to all the people we had meet. After a day of bathing in the sun we went out in the evening with a lovely girl for an Italian then meet up with friends and just had a nice night.

Saying goodbye was sad early Friday morning but home we had to go !!

So it was a great holiday with so many tales !!

My Crazy Weekend

Well as in the title is was a crazy weekend. :-[" class="middle" border="0">

It all started on Friday when i had to travel to see my grandparents. I love them to bits and they have been married 50 years (this year).
I'm having a conversation as we travel about the fact that marriage isn't so important these days, it's not like it used to be i say.
I arrive at my grandparents to find them squabbling over the heating ! or should i say the lack off !
So i think i was proved right on that !! 50 years and i'm surprised they haven't killed each other yet " class="middle" border="0">
Well it went from there, my gran god bless is losing her marbles slowly and my grandad is a stubbon old bas****d !!
Time keeping is a must breakfast, dinner and tea is more military than in the Navy
So to say my first night was very entertaining !!
The next day (Sat) was just the same but more laughs at their expense !! You just have to love them !!
You have to decide what you are having for tea at breakfast then go shopping which bore's the hell out of most people, for what you are going to eat that evening.
But bless my Auntie and Uncle come for a visit my god sends !! But it is so cold in the house they never take their jackets off (this is normal) !! We arrange to meet again but at their's just for the warmer value !! i will be staying at their's over xmas just for the night !
I decide to take a quick shower before we all go out for the evening well that was a bad idea ! I have swam in alot of sea's this year with being away !! The sea in South Georgia (thats near the antartic)was warmer than my shower !!
Once i got out and went back into the room i was blue and they all asked if i was ok all i could do was shake and sit in front of the fire for 10 mins to thaw out lol.
My grandad bless him loves a whiskey or 10 and thinks he knows the world and if you have done it he has done it twice !!
He did try this with me until i pointed out he hated flying and had never been near the Falklands !! lol he did actually go quite after this until we got him home.
Bed time is a nightmare !! " class="middle" border="0"> first the radio has to be on at 20db's then the dog will start to make weird noises and my gran god bless will bang all the doors for a while. To say i had a restfull night sleep would be lie !!! I'm glad to be back home in a warm house, no dogs, no radio that i want to put on !!!!
So a really top weekend i'm glad to be back roll on back to work lol
So rant out of the way i hope you all had a good weekend and have a wicked monday (yes you can have a wicked monday) !!

My first trip out in the Falklands. To visit Mount Tumbledown and pay tribute to those who lost their lives in 1982.

Well it's here i know i'm a little late but the rugby season has started !!!
So far i can say i have been happy with the Welsh and Irish performances even though the matches have been played by the time i see them or i'm about 5 hours out !! Time difference is a T*** !!!
But i'm happy i have managed to see a little of the games and i hope i continue to do so !!!
Apart from that i'm great i have finally got to see my penguins !!
I have see Genkoo penguins and King penguins with their babies and they were ssssooooo cute, yes i admit i wanted to touch one or even just pick it up for a cuddle but didn't !! Still got loads of pictures of them though and yes when i can i will post pic's !! promise !!!
Well i have been very good and have been going back to the gym lately so i am trying to keep fit and lose a little weight before coming home.
Well i'm off now got to get back on board !!

Well hello all !!!
It's so good to be back at sea but it is still cold !!
I have been to South Georgia and have visited the most southerly post office in the world !! The day we got in it was snowing so not much work down but we did have the biggest snow ball fight ever on the flight deck which was a good laugh !!
It was beautiful going down as we passed ice burgs which i do have pic's of but can download them at the mo !! Once i can i will.
I have seen glaciers, fur seals and elephant seals but still no penguins but don't worry i have a plan i will see them before we sail home !!
This is definatley a once in a life time trip cos i don't think i will get to come back here again so i'm glad i managed to get here now.
Apart from that i'm fine and WCG is back !!!! i know she is ok !!
I am hoping to get some good stops on the way back and for Adamantrix we are decomishoning in Pompey !! So keep an eye out !!
Well back to the ship for me now only came out for the gym (trying to be good)

Hiya All,

Well first i would like to say welcome back to CWG i'm glad you got her back i would of helped if i had been near a computer !!! Soz but have spoken to her and she sounds happy !!
Well i have made it to the Falklands and first impressions is thats it's god dam freezing !!! No i haven't seen any pengiuns yet but hoping to in the next couple of days as i'm sailing to South Georgia. Hoping to see some elephant seals and whales as well but will keep you all updated.
Apart from that have climbed Mount Tumbledown which is where part of the Falklands war was fought so that was pretty awesome !!
And apart from that is feels like the arse end of the world lol !!
I will have to wait to get to a proper internet cafe to upload any pictures i get as i can't do it at the moment so keep an eye out !!
Hope all bloggers are fine this evening or in UK time this morning and you are all wicked !!!!

Hi
Well i have been a very naughty girl and i haven't blogged for a long time and i'm sorry consider my knuckles wrapped !!!!
So what have i been up to ...
Well i have been on courses mainly and the best one was learning how to drive a speed boat yes this is true i am now qualified to drive !!!
So look out if you are on the water !! " class="middle" border="0">
I have been taking pictures of where i live and surrounding area's to take with me for when i goto the Falkands which is only days away now.
I will do better to keep you updated and will hopefully take some pic's of penguins !! i don't think there is much else to take pic's of but i will keep you all updated.
I have another interest in my life at the moment which is also why i haven't blogged for a while and i hope it all goes well even though away for 6 months !!
I will have a good read of all your blogs before i go and comment as best i can. I can't believe i'm going it's not like the normal Med of Gulf trips this is completely different !! But hopefully a good one.
